The Sailing School “Ocean for everyone”
Learn and practice the joys of water sports, including- windsurfing, sailing, kayaking etc…
The sailing school and qualified instructors welcome you throughout the year and offer many courses, for both young and old. Ideally located on the “Bay of Pontusval”, the school benefits from a secure stretch of safe water. Various craft available to hire, which include, Optimist, Topaz, Caravel, Catamarans and sail boards.

Spring tide activity with the sailing school
Kayak around the wrecks, visible only at spring tide.
Kayak Ballade at dusk. The tide is low……..not a breath of wind... silence…(moonlit reflections) on the calm sea…peace.

Bathing on the beach - July-August
“La Plage des Crapauds” is monitored daily, by lifeguards from SNSM, who ensure safe and carefree bathing in clear water.
Sometimes the fish tease your toes.

Shell fishing at low tide, for all the family
Put on yours shorts, choose a time when the tide is low and you will find shellfish, prawns, winkles and edible crabs or, if you are lucky, a spider crab that would provide a free and tasty meal.

Sea angling is available:
Surf casting along the shore for Sea Bass, etc…
Sea fishing if you wish, you can rent a boat. BE CAREFUL.
Always check weather condition before casting off, obtain information from the Lifeguard or Sailing School.

The “transbaie” 2009
Would you like to have a fun “sailing”day? Set sail with your teams of “sailors” in the “Transbaie 2009”.....build your own sailing craft from any reusable material, and start the adventure, fun and laughter guaranteed. Event held at the beginning of August.
